    Description

My preference would be a reconsideration of removing the QuestionnaireResponse profile (FHIR-39495), however, if it is to be removed, please modify the description of why it was removed and include text stating the different purpose/scope that QuestionnaireResponse provides (different from the Observation Screening Assessment profile).

The IG should state that the Questionnaire is not duplicative. Stating that while US Core focuses on the communication of observation assessments that are derived from screening activities, systems may still find that they need to implement the QuestionnaireResponse for interoperability capabilities involving the screening processes. Also consider adding a statement that domain specific IGs, like SDOH Clinical Care (from Gravity), that define profiles for screening process interoperability should be considered by implementers.
