      The references to “Acuity” will be modified to “Initial Acuity” throughout IG along with LOINC Identifier : 11283-9.  See the update in TABLE 2.5: A08 MESSAGE TRIGGERS page, 28 where the usage will be updated to RE. On page 56 where the usage will be updated to RE and Example will be updated to reflect Initial Acuity as well.

      Required OBX segment values are mismatched between what is listed on page 13 (Updated OBX Usage, elevating the following from O to RE), table 2.5 A08 MESSAGE TRIGGERS and the Usage column of 3.2.6 OBX_SS - OBSERVATION/RESULT. Examples are Pregnancy and Acuity.

      Please ensure that this documentation accurately reflects what is a required OBX field consistently.
