Description
There is no clear information | instruction on which CDA structure should | can be used to include pharmacist recommendation to the prescriber | nurse about patient's medications.
In the C-CDAR2 IG - CCDA Clinicnotes R1 DSTU21 2015 vol2:
3.6.7 Planned Medication Activity (V2) template contains the following:
- Indication (v2) (optional)
- Medication Information (v2) (required)
- Priority Preference (optional)
- Instruction (v2) (optional)
- Author Participation (optional)
- Precondition for Substance Administration (v2) (optional)
The Planned Medication Activity template, (as per the 2015 C-CDA IG), does not appear to include template | structure for pharmacist recommendations
C-CDA IG
3.45 Instruction (v2) - is used to record patient instructions within a Medication Activity; or
to record fill instructions within a supply order
Act.code - shall contain exactly one [1..1] code, which should be selected from ValuseSet Patient Education
This value set is not intended to support pharmacist recommendations on patient's medications or medication orders
