      This value covers the Administrative Gender only, and as provided in the examples, we are able to handle the 80% and support extensions for finer detail where desired.

    Description

      It would be better for Patient.gender to be a CodeableConcept, rather than a code. The CodeableConcept allows for translation and mapping to other value sets.
