Actually, there are a number of resources that should be pointed to:

ActorDefinition & ExampleScenario on the 'example' side of things

PlanDefinition and ActivityDefinition on the 'definition' side of things

We will put sections on both the workflow module and the home workflow page that speak to this (or reference one from the other). We'll also clean up the 'development roadmap' on the workflow module to be more up-to-date.
