      The semantic versioning approach is explained well, but only talks about incrementing version numbers without ever noting that version numbers to the right are reset.

      E.g., When `1.3.5` contains a major change, it becomes `2.0.0`, not `2.3.5`. Although this may seem obvious to people familiar w/ semantic versioning, I have encountered people who did not find it so obvious. Consider adding language to indicate this behavior.
