Description
The note to balloters on the Treatment Intervention Preference profile suggests the fixed code of the .category slice for 'us-core' will be updated with a new LOINC code when available. The language states: "In this ballot version, we are using the US Core category code "treatment-intervention-preference" for this concept. A request for a new LOINC for this concept has been submitted to Regenstrief, and we expect it to be available before the publication of this version of US Core."
The .code element also has a fixed value using the same us core category code ('treatment-intervention-preference')...will the current fixed value be updated with the new LOINC code or remain fixed to 'treatment-intervention-preference'?
Note: The Care Experience Preference Profile adopts a pattern in which the .category code is fixed to a value from the us core category value set, and the .code value is fixed to LOINC, i.e. the inverse of what this note to balloters seems to suggest will happen for the Treatment Intervention Preference profile.
