      Update 2.5.2 to:
The positive influenza test results in a notification to the HDEA. The HDEA queries for a limited set of PII, including the patient’s address. If the patient is not a resident of a catchment area, the HDEA stops all activity regarding this patient. If the patient is a resident of a catchment area, the limited set of data is sent upon case identification (i.e., Use Case 1). The HDEA then regularly monitors the patient’s record until discharge occurs. Upon discharge, the HDEA requests a set of FHIR resources representing patient-level encounter information from the Data Source (i.e., Use Case 2). The obtained resources are validated (e.g., checked to see if they are conformant to the appropriate FHIR profiles), bundled, and transmitted to the RESP-NET Site.

      2.5.1
Change "Use Case 1 is reported within one week of case identification." to "Use Case 1 is reported when case identification criteria are met."

    Description

Section 2.5.2 states "If the patient is a resident of a catchment area the HDEA then regularly monitors the patient's record until discharge occurs. Upon discharge, the HDEA requests a set of FHIR resources" but earlier, Use Case 1 indicates that the reporting is within one week of case identification. If the patient is not discharged within a week of the initial positive test, does Use Case 1 apply? Or should the HDEA monitor until one of those events (hitting the 1 week mark or discharge) happens and then submit per Use Case 1? Please clarify if there is a 1 week triggering event.
