      For: https://hl7.eu/fhir/laboratory/StructureDefinition-Patient-animal-eu-lab-definitions.html#Patient.gender I question #1 use of this element in animals - I woudl assume this is intended to be the animal's sex, since an animal does not normally declare gender - so not correct use of the concept.

      If the decision to use this element remains, then the valueset for it should at least reflect animal related values like spayed/neutered.
