      1)

Concept map are not providing details about the element mapped. This information is provided in the referred logical models. see https://build.fhir.org/ig/hl7-eu/laboratory/StructureDefinition-Result-definitions.html#diff_Result.observation.code.name

these are the definitions given in the eHN guidelines, we cannot change them

      2)

Change the  Result.observation.code.name (A.5.2.3.1 Observation name) description as

"If the 'code' is the Observation.code, similar mapping for the other cases.

This may be the "full specified name" designation, in addition to the short name. Only one designation is supposed to be recorded in the report; consumers can uses terminology services and/or lookup tables to enable users to have different displays for the same coded concept."

      3)

Change the  *.coding.display for the Result.observation.code.displayName (A.5.2.3.3 Observation display name) description as

"If the 'code' is the Observation.code, similar mapping for the other cases.

This may be the "short name" designation, in addition to the Full specified name. Only one designation is supposed to be recorded in the report; consumers can uses terminology services and/or lookup tables to enable users to have different displays for the same coded concept."

      4) remove the line Result.observation.code.displayName (A.5.2.3.3 Observation display name)        Observation.code.coding.display.extension:translation

      5)

In fact only one element is mapped in the text and it represents the "Original (conventional) name of the observation as used by the laboratory"

    Description

Usage of observation.code.*  in concept map / logical model  / FHIR mapping not clear

      1) What should the elements be used for and how? Such explainations are missing in the table!

      2) Why code with 3 string-elements (name; OriginalName; displayName) and why redundant mapping, twice to *.coding.display

       see attached 20231116_ConceptMap_A.5_ResultsDataElements.PNG

      3) The counterpart and mapping to the FHIR structure is difficult to understand. How do the 3 text-string "names" map to FHIR codeableconcept? (codeable concept has one text element)

      see attached 20231116_20231116_FHIRResource_ObservationResults-code.PNG
