    Description

Be aware:  FHIR R5 specimen resource will have

      • Container type as a device reference
      • an no more element "additive"  ("additive" will only be part of "processing")

Germany (medical information object laboratory report) will more follow this concept, to avoid a later mapping of erased elements:

      • Container type as a device reference
with device type code "434711009 |Specimen container (physical object)|  SNOMED Clinical Terms so far.
And with device type category - maybe intensional valueset for specimen container type, we are still working on this.

Kind regards from Martina Sender (mio42 GmbH, Germany)
