Background The Search Parameters and Operations page lists all the operations and search parameters defined for the US Core Implementation Guide. However, as noted in the Search Parameters section: NOTE: The following search parameters SHALL NOT be interpreted on their own as requirements for the server. The CapabilityStatement defines the search capabilities expectations for the US Core Server. This section lists the search parameters definitions that are used within the CapabilityStatement. This is not a list of search requirements for the client or server. Search parameters are defined in US Core but not listed as a Mandatory or Optional Search parameter. They are defined for implementers who wish to use them.   Decision: We will add to the note: "Certain search parameters have been defined without explicit categorization as either Mandatory or Optional search parameters. They are provided to assist implementers who may find them relevant to their specific use cases."
