    Description

      Reading that statement precisely, I don't think "Canonical()" "stands" for anything. I would accept that "Canonical(

      {name or id or url}

      ) resolves to the canonical URL of the referenced item", but "Canonical()" on its own, doesn't stand for anything.

      Canonical() stands for the canonical URL of the referenced item.
