    Description

in STU2.2, the PlaceOfInjury profile is referenced in both DeathInvestigation and CodedContent sections of the death certificate.

PlaceOfInjury(INJPL)  is coded content (coded version of Place of Injury LIteral POILTRL).  It is generated only by NCHS.   The content of the DeathInvestigation section is generated by the VRO and submitted to NCHS.

Dropping the PlaceOfInjury profile from the DeathInvestigationSection should be zero impact.  It should only be included in the CodedCOntent section.
