This is not actually a change to the IG.

We have requested that Phinvads remove the inactive code and replace with 163518000 to UNK | Unknown | NullFlavor (Code system: https://phinvads.cdc.gov/vads/ViewCodeSystem.action?id=2.16.840.1.113883.5.1008#). Phinvads has updated the value set.

    Description

At last one concept in one valueset appears to be obsolete, which perhaps should be a concern.

I can’t find the SNOMEDCT code 163518000  – On examination – fetal presentation unsure.   Based on https://uts.nlm.nih.gov/uts/umls/concept/C0437153

       It appears to be obsolete.

(One advantage of direct inclusion of valuesets in the IG is that the codes get validated on every publication cycle.  )

The IJE terms being mapped are 3 (Other) and 9 (Unknown).

I don’t see any SNOMEDCT terms for unknown presentation.   Might be best to use UNK from NullFlavor instead of the obsolete term 163518000 .
