Is this correct:
To specify father:   focus = RelatedPersonFatherNatural
                                 subject = PatientChildVitalRecords

To specify mother:  subject = MotherVitalRecords
                                  focus = (none)

Might it be simpler and more consistent to just use the focus field as follows:
              
To specify father:   focus = RelatedPersonFatherNatural
To specify mother: focus = MotherVitalRecords
