As discussed during the 2023-01-12 CGP call the PACIO project is requesting an exception to the requirement to extend a US Core Observation profile for an abstract profile that captures cross-cutting requirements for Observations within the Personal Functioning and Engagement IG. This abstract profile is not intended to be implemented and the IG includes specific Observation profiles extending US Core Observation profiles which add the same requirements as in the abstract profile that implementers will actually implement and use. Our vision is that the abstract profile will provide clarity on the requirements for PFE Observations separate from US Core requirements.
