Description
Issue:
Although the Background section highlights the core principles of CDA and explicitly mentions the principle of human readability, the IG doesn't include any explicit guidance on how text linking should be implemented in a FHIR Document that is generated from a C-CDA R2.1 document where narrative text linking is clearly specified as a best practice. The CDA Examples Task Force has well established guidance on how to properly link between narrative in the section.text and the machine processable entry.
Requested Resolution:
This guidance needs to be added in the Introduction chapter where a lot gets said about machine generated entries, and more in detail within the Background Chapter where CDA principles are covered and broad mapping principles are established.
