      These types of observations would be categorized as laboratory observations, not physical activity observations and are outside the scope of this IG.  It's theoretically possible that a lab or EHR could choose to put a "physical activity" category on the observation to allow easier flow to exercise professionals, but this would still be outside the scope of the IG.

      We will add a specific clarification to the scope of the IG excluding lab-type measurements and will include a reference to US-Core Lab Observation for that purpose.  Will note that the "Physical Activity" category can optionally be used on lab or other observations that don't comply with this profile where the data is considered physical-activity-relevant.

      Athletic testing of many sorts entails the taking and testing of specimens. Examples include: measuring lactic acid in the blood, measuring mitrochondrial function in vitro*, measuring dehydration via urine specific gravity.

      To prohibit specimens in the base observation is to effectively prevent many types of physical activity reporting. 

      Therefore, specimen should not be 0..0
