    Description

When we get prior auth for a clinic administered medication using the medical benefit today, this goes over the 278 as a HCPCS J code. It wasn't obvious to me how to do the equivalent over CRD since it only mentions RxNorm.

Talking on a previous call it sounds like this is doable by populating MedicationRequest.medication[x].medicationCodableConcept with the J code (alongside the required RxNorm).

We should add some guidance on how to do this so implementers are doing the same thing. Maybe add some more usage notes to https://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/davinci-crd/StructureDefinition-profile-medicationrequest.html for how to pass J codes for CAMs when the CRD client knows them?
