[Vital Records Death Reporting (VRDR)http://hl7.org/fhir/us/vrdr/] & [Medicolegal Death Investigation (MDI)|http://hl7.org/fhir/us/md  have profiles that represent very similar information related death investigations and reporting.

Add profiles to the VR Common Profile Library, based on the already-tested VRDR-2.1 profiles, so that future versions of both VRDR and MDI can reference a single profile for each shared concept:
