HL7 FHIR Implementation Guide: Profiles for Transfusion and Vaccination Adverse Event Detection and Reporting  is publishing a Technical Correction and a new variance is needed as RelatedPerson has a profile in the IG but it does not inherit from the US Core RelatedPerson.  Although it would be easy to make the profile inherit (it would just add an active flag), since this is just a Technical Correction, we don't actually want to make (or can make) this change.

There will be a new version of this guide being balloted in the fall where we can make the appropriate fix to this profile and we may also be going a later version of US-Core.
