Description
On http://hl7.org/fhir/us/mcode/ , the teal Patient structure should have Sex, instead of gender indicated in the figure and link to http://hl7.org/fhir/us/mcode/StructureDefinition-mcode-cancer-patient-definitions.html#Patient.gender
Link should point to http://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/fhir-mCODE-ig/StructureDefinition-mcode-cancer-patient-definitions.html#key_Patient.extension:birthsex
so it matches "birthsex" in this version of the Cancer Patient Profile: http://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/fhir-mCODE-ig/StructureDefinition-mcode-cancer-patient.html
Additional updates may be needed where these occur in the profile. The CBC and CMP look to have correct sex.
It's vital to know birthsex for appropriate oncology patient care and to know what organs a person was born with (i.e. prostate).
