We have updated US Core to include the new U.S. Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) v4 Data Elements and Classes that the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) published in July of 2023.  For USCDI Laboratory data class and elements, the US Core Laboratory Result Observation Profile has been updated to support Result Interpretation as a Must Support element.  As a result, we have updated the examples to include result interpretations where applicable.

    Description

While not required, including an interpretation with laboratory observations is good practice (particularly when out of normal range). Most result examples seem to skip interpretation. Here is one that should carry a "H" flag per the reference range in the example.

This might be considered beyond this example as well.
