Description
Need clarification on this guidance:
US Core uses the US Edition of SNOMED CT, which is the official source of SNOMED CT for use in US healthcare systems. The US Edition is a standalone release that combines the content of the US Extension and the International releases of SNOMED CT. The proper URI should be used for terminology servers to validate US Edition only codes. http://snomed.info/sct should means an unspecified edition/version. the US Edition URI is http://snomed.info/sct/731000124108.
Does this mean that all SNOMED code using in US Core resources shall have "http://snomed.info/sct/731000124108" as code system value?
If so, why the values in US Core 6 does not use this code system url? for example: https://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/US-Core/ValueSet-us-core-condition-code.html
Could you provide an example using this new code system url?
