      Motion to clarify that the standard cannot indicate the correct status that the replaced Observation could be set to as in the context of the base standard the rules are not definable as the notion of replacement and status are independent as to when one and/or the other can occur and driven by the use case context.  To clarify this in the standard, we will remove from the extension comment the statement "The target observation is now obsolete." and add a statement that the implementer must consider the appropriate status to indicate that the replaced Observation is obsolete and also add that the notion of replacement and status are independent as to when one and/or the other can occur and driven by the use case context.

    Description

      What happens to the observation this one replaces? What is the status of that observation? I assume, cancelled, entered-in-error or unknown.
      Please add explanation of the expected behavior of this extension and a add constraint stating this.
