      The text that appears in Observation.issued is: "Test result date released" - this isn't the generic base resource text (that is "Date/Time this version was made available"). This text is actually from the V2 spec, but agree that it is not super helpful!

      Will add guidance to Observation.issued.definition (i.e. the information that shows up when you hover-over or click into Observation.issued) as follows: "Test result date released: This should be populated with the test result date released, which, in the at-home setting, will mostly be the same as the Observation.effective[x], however, it could be different when a proctor is involved and releases the result. It is mapped to HL7 V2 OBR 22 because it is the required field in the message."

    Description

      Given the nature of at home tests, it would be helpful for implementers if you clarified how Observation.issued should be valued. There is some generic text inherited form the US Core profile but specific guidance for at home tests would be a good addition.
