Description
The ADI Participant Consent resource is used to identify a persons Health Care Agents (HCAs) as well as the healthcare decisions that the HCA is being authorized to make on behalf of the individual.
Currently the HCA is being identified in Consent.provision.actor.reference
with the role being an indication of their order of contact (Primary HCA to contact, secondary/next if the primary is unavailable or unwilling, etc)
The decisions that the HCAs are being authorized to make are currently captured in Consent.provision.action with an IG defined CodeSystem identifying certain decisions based on procedures. This is less than ideal as it is preferable to be able to use actual procedure codes in some way and put it in a right to make a decision about context in some fashion.
With same discussion with CBCP, it seems these approaches may not be ideal. Identify a better approach with CBCP and make changes to the profile.
