      Proposed resolution:

      1. Add the following additional URIs in the URI column:
        1. urn:iso:std:iso:3166:-2
        2. urn:iso:std:iso:3166:-3
      2. Remove the OID value from the table. Correct OIDs cannot be provided as they have not been created in the OID registry.

    Description

The row corresponding to ISO 3166 has the following issues:

      1. The URI only has a single value (urn:iso:std:iso:3166) which only addresses Part 1, Country Codes (2-letter and 3-letter, and numerical codes)and not regional codes and neither formerly used country codes.
      2. The OID (1.0.3166.1.2.2) only identifies identifies the coding system published in the ISO 3166-1 Standard for Country codes, 2nd edition, 2-character alphabetic codes and thus excludes 3-character codes, numeric codes as well as regional codes and formerly used country codes.

      Proposed resolution:

      1. Add the following additional URIs in the URI column:
        1. urn:iso:std:iso:3166:-2
        2. urn:iso:std:iso:3166:-3
      2. Remove the OID value from the table. Correct OIDs cannot be provided as they have not been created in the OID registry.
