Adding specification versions to endpoint URL is a good practice but not something that FHIR mandates. We follow the same pattern here. So hubs are encourage to do so, but we will not mandate this, nor specify behavior is the URL without the version.

    Description

All the requests should be extended by an (optional) parameter specifying the version of the standard as part of the URL.

If this parameter is optional, then in case it is not specified it should be the oldest version still supported by the hub, to not break the interoperability with clients not specifying this parameter upon introducing a new supported version.

Remark: in principle a hub could support multiple version of the standard (e.g. STU2 and STU3)
