US Core Needs to include a Profile on Composition

      Although we agree that converting CDA Documents as FHIR Resources should be standardized.  the process for adding new profiles is outlined here: https://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/US-Core/future-of-US-core.html#growth-path-of-us-core 

      If, for example, the CCDA on FHIR (http://www.hl7.org/fhir/us/ccda/) can document a broad consensus of support and piloting, then a proposal to add Composition as a candidate Profile should be brought to the Cross Groups Project.

      Many vendors are attempting to convert content expressed in CDA Documents as FHIR Resources. To support this use case, a profile is needed on Composition so that the context of the document and the text in its sections is not lost when the information is being mapped to FHIR.
