There is no relationship between the two cohorts in our IG. They are mutually exclusive.

We will clarify the content of the IG and make the parameters of each cohort clear.

    Description

There is a lot of ambiguity in the human readable definitions here of the patient identifier lists.  Clarification around the relationships of patients between these two identifier lists would be valuable, as well as why they were selected in this way.  It seems like the goal is to have two unique patient lists that do not overlap.

Identifier List 1 - Patients who were pregnant during a defined period of time.  Can this include patients that are currently pregnant (no delivery yet)?  Is the definition of pregnant related to clinical confirmation of pregnancy or to an estimate of pregnancy based on estimated or actual delivery date?  If a pregnant patient was seen in the system but a baby was not, it sounds like that pregnant patient should be included in this identifier list?

Identifier List 2 - All associated children of recently pregnant Patient sources.  If a child was seen in the system but the mother was not, it sounds like the child should not be included in this identifier list?  This identifier list seems to intentionally not include fetal deaths or other outcomes?
