Current content: Processing Prior Authorization submissions under the CMS Exception
The following section was added in the May 2022 ballot of PAS and we are seeking balloter feedback on it. There is an HL7 Confluence Page that is intended to provide guidance for how to process Prior Authorization submissions under the CMS Exception. It lists elements currently listed in the Profiles that are not required for use under the CMS Exception as well as best practices to follow.

Comment: When I went to this page, there is no information. How can this IG be scoped for 3 sections only when one of the sections is blank? Suggest including supplemental information that identifies each of the currently required elements and extensions and those that are not required for the HIPAA exception directly in the actual IG instead of driving people to another page.
