      In the extension that exposes prior authorization decisions computably, will add an additional component called 'reason', 0..* CodeableConcept with an extensible binding to a value set with a single code of "goldcard" - "Ordering Practitioner has been granted 'gold card' status with this payer/coverage type".

      We may add additional reason codes if we find value in flagging additional reasons for assertions that prior authorization is needed or not.

      When payers need an authorization number to process a claim, they can return the authorization as part of the CRD response.

    Description

      Does CRD include the ability to flag a physician's gold carding status? Given current State law (e.g. TX) and probable upcoming federal bill it would be helpful to develop the capability to flag gold carding status.
