We will use the term "CRD client" and explain that it covers the whole range of systems enumerated by Hans.  All current references to EMR/EHR will be replaced with "CRD client".

Will make clear that, based on how CDS Hooks currently functions, the CRD client will need to provide a single FHIR interface that exposes all relevant resources to the CRD service, though the data used to populate those resources may in fact reside on a variety of distinct physical environments.

Will add an STU note that the mechanism by which this single interface is surfaced is not yet defined.

    Description

Suggest to clarify that initiating an ePA using CRD interaction is not limited to EMRs and EHRs.  Rather, initiating provider-focused HIT include EHRs, EMRs, Scheduling, Registration, and Practice Management systems.

Perhaps the general term can be "provider-focused HIT" while these variants are introduced only once in section 2.1.
