    Description

Patient Care PG received a request to advise on how to represent changing patient conditions in FHIR Condition resource.
Use case: patient condition may improve | deteriorate | stabilise over the different phases | course of a disease.
A number of options had been discussed during conference calls in 2022-02 and 2022-03 with suggestion that two options can be considered:

      • Use an Observation profile
      • add data structure to Condition resource (preferred option)
The Powerful file attached description the trigger/use case to this change proposal, the discussions on various option, and the preferred option.
