The statement is made that CDex is used for attachments/supporting information in prior authorization, yet the CRD/DTR/PAS are not referencing CDex to be used.  PAS allows for "attaching" individual data, including data, but not limited to "attachment documents" only.  And for follow-up data requests the latest PAS is pointing back to DTR to gather such data, which also does not reference CDex. Suggest to indicate that "attachments as a document" is considered an option that some may use, but is not a required format to use for FHIR based prior authorization flows.
