    Description

      The "Business Requirements" section (2.2) includes an amendments/extensions workflow:

      This implementation guide also supports business requirements around the management of prior authorizations, including checking on the status of ‘pended’ authorization requests (by the ordering and/or performing providers), cancelling previously submitted prior authorization requests and updating prior authorization requests to reflect changes in clinical need (e.g. changes to the requested quantity or time-period).

      However, the subsequent "Workflow" section (2.3) does not cover the amendments/extensions workflow. From section 2.3, it is unclear how this workflow should function.

      I suggest adding a section 2.3.8 to cover the authorizations amendments/extensions workflow.
