For the current version of the IG the following sampling approach will be used:

All providers from the ambulatory practice will be sampled when the healthcare survey use case is enabled for the healthcare organization.
The ability to sample one or more providers from a group of providers within a healthcare organization will be pursued in a future release of the HCS Content IG.

Ambulatory encounters are identified by Encounter.class where ActEncounterCode = AMB (ambulatory) and VR (virtual).

Add Guidance in the IG as follows:
The healthcare survey program will have to manage the authentication/authorization protocols such that any BSA/EHRs or other client applications will not be able to send data to NCHS when they are no longer participating in the program.

    Description

      1. The Ambulatory use case involves a group of sampled providers and encounters that occurred within a specified timeframe. Where is the specified timeframe detailed in this profile?

      2. Providers cannot know who else is being sampled (common Knowledge Artifact won't work).

      3. Does there need to be pseudonymization or hashing included on the Group resource?

      4. Where is the endpoint identified?
