This guide leverages the NAACCR Standards for Cancer Registries Volume V, Laboratory Electronic Reporting Pathology Version 5.0, May 2020 (Revised 2020).

This IG has not been balloted at HL7, it would be nice if this could get harmonized with the LRI / integrated as a profile component, so the basic message structures for lab reslts are the same, regardless if used for anatomic pathology, chemistry, micro or other lab results reporting - I know there has been comparison to the ELR R1 IG done in the past, and I think a comparison to LRI also exists.
