There are a three profiles that currently identify instantiatesCanonical as 1..1 and mustSupport, however this seems significantly over-constrained and it's not clear why it's needed at all.  There is no support in Da Vinci or US Core for any of the resources that instantiatesCanonical could point to.  We will remove any references to this element for this release given that we have no documented requirements for it.  (NutritionOrder,
