Change "From a clinical and technical perspective, triggering the CDS service at two events in the workflow sets PDDI CDS apart from most conventional CDS systems that trigger CDS at the time of order signing." to "Having the option to trigger the CDS service at one of two different events in the workflow sets PDDI CDS apart from most conventional CDS systems that trigger CDS at the time of order signing."  - this is to clarify that only one alert should be triggered.

    Description

I would suggest only one alert at the point of ordering the drug (versus also at the point of signing the order) as double alerts can get annoying and tend to be ignored a second time; this could increase clinician burden. As an alternative, consider looking to see if the orderer is the same person as the order signer; if they are not, then the double alerts may be warrented.

      Existing Wording:

From a clinical and technical perspective, triggering the CDS service at two events in the workflow sets PDDI CDS apart from most conventional CDS systems that trigger CDS at the time of order signing.
