4.6 Concepts
In addition to codes, CQL supports a concept construct, which is defined as a set of codes that are all semantically equivalent. CQL Concepts are not currently used within measure development and SHALL NOT be used within FHIR-based eCQMs, except to the extent that individual codes will be implicitly converted to concepts for the purposes of comparision with the Concept-value elements in FHIR resources.
