Description
Tracker 20602 asked for the ability to indicate a timing for a procedure not done for reason. The result was to add a new attribute, Procedure.recorded as follows:
Add Procedure.*recorded *as 0..1 dateTime with
short description: "When the procedure was first captured in the subject's record"
definition: "The date the occurrence of the title was first captured in the record - potentially significantly after the occurrence of the event"
update mappings to workflow event.recorded
The language does not provide leeway to indicate a dateTime when a decision was made to avoid a procedure.
An example of potential wording to address the timing initially requested can be found in MedicationAdministration.effective[x]: "A specific date/time or interval of time during which the administration took place (or did not take place, when the 'notGiven' attribute is true). For many administrations, such as swallowing a tablet the use of dateTime is more appropriate."
Request modification of language to address the "not-done for reason" use case that is currently excluded based on the description. Consider, "The date the occurrence of the title was first captured in the record (or did not take place, when the 'Procedure.status not-done' is present) - potentially significantly after the occurrence of the event"
