The commenter suggests the next version of mCODE should conform to US Core, QI-Core, and CIMI Vital Sign and CIMI Lab profiles. (1) As a US Realm IG, the current version of mCODE already conforms to US Core. The US version will continue to conforrm to US Core in the future. (2) From the 10/31 CIMI meeting, we agreed to remove the mCODE Vital Signs and Lab Profiles and instead document the use of US Core R4 Vital Signs and FHIR base lab profiles. For Vital Signs, this also leverages the ongoing work between CIMI and US Core in further aligning to one set of profiles. (3) QI-Core has not been considered as a potential base for mCODE up to this point. We will consider that possibility in a future version but QI-Core was out-of-scope for our mCODE use cases in 0.9.1.

Suggested resolution: Persuasive with Mod (Delete Vital Signs and Lab Profiles).
