Improve markdown support for pages. Currently pages only support html format . and I include all the markdown as include file. Jekyll allows markdown as well (https://jekyllrb.com/docs/pages/) but the Markdown rendering is not working. I thought it was because markdown was inside of blocks but that did not work either (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27859082/markdown-is-not-being-rendered-on-jekyll-site).

Ideally would like all templates and pages to be able to be markdown files too.
