    Description

Two of the use cases for the Care Team Member Schedule Observation are listed as:

      • An oncologist who participates on the care team once a year to monitor the patient for disease relapse.

      • A primary care provider who participates on the care team during the summer or winter months (e.g. in the case of patients who are snow-birds).

However, the observation/value is restricted to an IVL_TS which SHALL have a low and SHOULD have a high, meaning that it can't really represent examples like these that are periodic in nature.

The PIVL_TS data type can do this, and both IVL_TS and PIVL_TS are derived from SXCM_TS, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to change the value's data type to SXCM_TS instead if we really do want the Care Team Member Schedule Observation to have this much flexibility. The downside would be that more exotic time intervals like PIVL_TS are much less widely supported than IVL_TS and we'd need to make it clear that they're able to appear here we really do want this template to cover those use cases. If we don't, then we should consider removing them from the template's list of example use cases.
