Specification - Extended HL7 CDA® R2 Implementation Guide: Public Health Case Report, Release 2: the Electronic Initial Case Report (eICR), Release 1, STU Release 1.1 - US Realm
Document Description extended per TSC Tracker 12574, extension TSC GF 15952, JIRA TSC-29, TSC-123
Existing WordingThe schematron generated from Trifolia on 12/21/2016 requires use of the US Realm Address (AD.US.FIELDED) (2.16.840.1.113883.10.20.22.5.2) outside of the header. There doesn't appear to be a conformance statement in the document requiring use of that template outside of the header. This causes errors other places that an address can be included, such as: * Encounters section, encounter/performer/assignedEntity/addr * Encounters section, encounter/performer/assignedEntity/representedOrganization/addr * Problems section entry/act/entryRelationship/observation/author/assignedAuthor/addr * Problems section entry/act/entryRelationship/observation/author/assignedAuthor/representedOrganization/addr The errors vary depending on how conformant the address is, but they include these: * SHALL contain exactly one [1..1] streetAddressLine (CONF:81-7291). (count(cda:streetAddressLine)=1) * SHALL contain exactly one [1..1] streetAddressLine (CONF:81-7291). (count(cda:streetAddressLine)=1) * SHALL contain exactly one [1..1] city (CONF:81-7292) * State is required if the country is US. If country is not specified, it's assumed to be US. If country is something other than US, the state MAY be present but MAY be bound to different vocabularies (CONF:81-10024). * PostalCode is required if the country is US. If country is not specified, it's assumed to be US. If country is something other than US, the postalCode MAY be present but MAY be bound to different vocabularies (CONF:81-10025).
Proposed WordingUpdate the schematron to not enforce AD.US.FIELDED outside of the CDA Header.
