Description
This table shows a mapping from MSH-7 (Date/Time of Message) to Bundle.timestamp. The problem is that the Bundle.timestamp data type is instant, which requires a time zone offset whereas the MSH-7 data type is a DTM where the time zone offset is optional. While it is always good practice for sending applications to put a time zone offset in MSH-7, real implementations don't always do this. Thus a straight mapping might not always produce conformant FHIR output.
I recommend filling in the Comments column to warn implementers about this issue. Usually the best approach is to have a configuration table to fill in missing time zone offsets on a per-interface basis.
Also, I couldn't find a value in the Related Artifact field above for this page. That might need to be added.
