Add the following text to the GH IG terminology section for RSG type:

      • LOINC codes are being used as a "type" for the RSG data element.
      • We are not suggesting that the RSG.value would necessarily use a LOINC answer list code.
      • But if there is a need for a validated list, the LOINC answer list codes could be used.

    Description

When referencing the type with LOINC codes - which do not always include the same answer values as in the FHIR value set.  This is confusing.

Also, not having a clear distinction in type for "sex" and "sex assigned at birth" can lead to confusion and/or misuse of these types.

Leaving so much variation in how to represent the sex and gender concepts - is negating the need for the guide.  Consider more constraints if these concepts are to be used for interoperability - as there are may clinical uses of this data with regulated medical products that need to be considered.
